The Boycott is OVER!!

When Katie and I decided to move to Florida, my sister and brother-in-law declared they would be boycotting the state in protest.  It seemed like a funny little joke for the first year, but as we began to encroach on the second, I was getting a bit annoyed!  I told my sister that she could continue to boycott as long as she sent my nephew down for a few days for my birthday.  Well, my birthday came and went with no sister, no brother-in-law, and no nephew.  I was very surprised when I walked into my uncle's house in Orlando for Easter and the three of them were there waiting for  me!  It was a special gift and we had a great time together.  We hit up just about everything that you can do for free in Orlando, including one quick trip on the Disney monorail.  We even had time for a quick photo session to capture some images of the three of them with another on the way!  Thanks for the surprise, guys!

Hoskins Maternity Session

Our good friends Terry and Jamie are about to become parents!  We had the chance to spend the day together around Naples and captured some great images.  Terry is a Biblical counselor and heads up the Oasis Counseling Center on Marco Island.  He and Jamie are a constant encouragement to Katie and it was a lot of fun recording some of their last moments as a twosome.  Congratulations Terry and Jamie!!

Turner Family Session

We had a great time getting to know the Turner familiy!  We set out on one of the windiest days of the year and were determined to get some good shots!  Initially, we were trying to decide if we should postpone the session, so Katie and I left early to do a little scouting for places that were protected from the wind.  Isn't it funny how sometimes adversity forces us to step outside the box?  We ended up finding an intriguing brick street tucked in beside an old hotel in downtown Naples.  As we were shooting away, a gentleman across the street told us that he was also a photographer and pointed out a great courtyard not too far away.  We were able to get some great shots and the little bit of wind that swept through allowed for some nice supermodel poses.  These guys were a lot of fun...thanks for being flexible!!
