This past week we had the pleasure of hanging out with the Capelotti and O'Brien families as Erin and Dave exchanged vows on South Beach, Marco Island. Family and friends traveled from as far as Massachussets to be part of their special day. Their family's story is touching, yet beautiful and we were priveledged to capture their memories.

At the end of our service at Viewpoint Church today, Katie and I (and our temporary assitant Jordan Cox) had a chance to donate our time and talent by offering free family portraits! We had several families join us in the gazebo on the lawn of the gorgeous Etudes de Ballet Studio where our church meets.

Christaholik is a local musician with an awesome message! He'll be releasing a new album soon and playing some pretty big shows in the meantime. So, he called us up for some headshots. We spent a few hours together and traveled from Naples to downtown Ft. Myers. We ended our day at Vibe which is the studio Christaholik is currently recording at. Katie and I grew up in Mansfield, PA. Mansfield is a charming small town nestled in the mountains and surrounded by forest. We recently took a trip back home and had the chance to spend some time with the Cummings family. They took us to a beautiful property that overlooks Mansfield for their portrait session. We believe weddings and portraits are the reason the camera was invented! The still image captures emotion and tells your story better than any medium we can think of. But, every now and then we run across a photo opportunity that is almost as much fun as firing away on the dance floor. Last week, we experienced the Sun N Fun annual airshow. The airshow was so impressive, but even more so when we learned of the damaging tornado that touched down on the property the day before.
